OIT has contracted with Time Warner Cable to deliver Basic Cable TV Service to residents living in the residence halls and apartments on Newark Campus. This standard service is provided to you as part of your room or apartment contract with Ohio State's Office of Student Life. Cable service is already active in each room or apartment. This means, you do not need to order Basic Cable service, and you will not receive a separate monthly bill for the service.

Violators are subject to state, federal and University criminal penalties. OIT makes periodic checks in all university-owned buildings and will remove any illegal cable television connections and equipment found.
