Manufacturer-installed Features

*NOTE: The Message Waiting Light will not work unless the Message Wait Connection button is in the T/R position. This button is located on the front-bottom side of the phone.

Flash Button:
This key is used to access any features that were accessed with the Tap button (on single line phones) or the Conference key (on Electronic sets). For example, call transfer, three-way conference, ring again, and call waiting are activated using the flash button. To use the flash button:

  • Press flash (hear three beeps and dial tone)
  • Dial the 5-digit extension
  • Press flash again, and then press the release key

Placing a Call on Hold:
After making or answering a call do the following:

  • Press the HOLD button and return the handset to the cradle (the hold LED will light)
  • To retrieve the call, lift the handset; or, if the handset is off-hook, press the HOLD button

Making A Hands-free Call:

  • Press the HANDSFREE button, then enter the number using the dial pad
  • When call is complete, press the HANDSFREE button

To Switch to a Hands-free Call:

  • Lift the handset
  • Enter number using dial pad
  • When call is answered, press HANDSFREE button, then place the handset on hook
  • When call is complete, press HANDSFREE button

To Store Numbers or Features on the 10 One-Touch Memory Buttons:

  • Lift the handset
  • Press the STORE button and dial the number (limit 15 digits)** or access code (For Example: dial *72 for Call pickup)
  • Press the STORE button again
  • Press desired MEMORY button
  • Then place the handset on hook

To Store Numbers or Features on the 10 Two-Touch Memory Buttons:

  • Lift the handset
  • Press the STORE button and dial the number (limit 15 digits)** or access code (For Example: dial *72 for Call pick-up)
  • Press the STORE button again
  • Press the SHIFT button
  • Press the desired MEMORY button
  • Then place the handset on hook

**NOTE: If a delay or pause is needed when programming a phone number into a Memory button -- for example, storing your authorization code number on a Memory button -- use the PAUSE button.

To store your authorization code number on a Memory button:

  • Lift the handset, then press the STORE button
  • Enter 1 – PAUSE button – Authorization Code
  • Press the STORE button again
  • Press the desired MEMORY button
  • Then place the handset on hook

To Dial the Stored Numbers in the 10 One-Touch Memory Buttons:

  • Lift the handset
  • Press the correct MEMORY button

To Dial the Stored Numbers in the 10 Two-Touch Memory Buttons:

  • Lift the handset
  • Press the SHIFT button
  • Press the correct MEMORY button

To Delete a Stored Number:

  • Reprogram a new stored number over the old number
