  • Record your name announcement (you have 10 seconds to record your name).
  • Record a personal greeting or select the standard greeting (you have 30 seconds to record a personal greeting).
  • Turn One-Touch Access on or off. When turned on, you don't have to enter your pass code when calling voice mail from your Sprint PCS Phone while in your Sprint PCS Home Service Area.

Note: You must complete all the steps above during a single call, or you will need to repeat all the steps the next time you call in to Sprint PCS Voice mail.

No. You can press any key as soon as you know what you would like to do.
10. Can I use my Sprint PCS Phone while a caller is leaving a message?
Yes. The caller will continue to leave a message while you use your Sprint PCS Phone. You cannot talk to the caller leaving the message because they have been forwarded to your Sprint PCS Voice mail.
11. What will callers hear when they reach my Voice mail?

When setting up your Voice Mail, you will be asked to either to record a personal greeting or select the standard greeting.

If you record a personal greeting, that greeting will be played when callers reach your voice mailbox. If not, a standard greeting will be played.

An example of a standard greeting is: You have reached the voice mailbox of (your recorded name). To record a voice message, please wait for the tone. When you are finished recording, you may then hang up or press # for more options.
